It sucks because when you left, you weren’t even halfway to a year!
I can’t believe you’re almost 6 months! I adore you so much, but please stop growing!
I’m missing out on so much. You’re so big now.
Your mum told me that you’re able to do things on your own. I cried tears of joy.
I hope mum and dad are showering you with so much love and care.
May God bring many, many, many blessing upon you and your parents.
You deserve the world! Take good care of yourself and stop shouting all the time.

Graffiti Page - Refugee.

Today, we read the Stations of the Cross for prayer. We came across a station that stated that Refugees seek asylum from oppression. Most of us didn't understand what it meant. So we looked into it. We created a graffiti page to show our understanding of Refugee.

Today in reading, we worked in our Talanoa groups and worked on Different Illnesses.
We worked on the causes of illnesses, treatments for illnesses, and different types of illnesses.

In reading, we have changed our ways of doing our reading. We call it "deep dive".
Deep dive is a strategy we use when reading a text or an article. We explore the text and expand it. We are learning to have the ability to develop a learning conversation. Instead of writing, we are talking and sharing in our "Talanoa" groups with what we have found out in these articles.
We have been reading articles about the Christchurch attack. None of our class members didn't learn about the Muslim Belief, seeing as the gunman, obviously targeted Muslims. Our teacher decided we should learn about the Muslim Faith, so we did. We found out many things we didn't know about Muslims.
